Coaching is tailored to each organization's specific needs and generally includes these elements:

Alignment meeting with the key leader(s) to:

  • Clarify the organization's expectations of coaching
  • Agree on how progress will be monitored
  • Understand the organization's culture, vision and goals

Start-up meeting with each person who will be coached or a workshop with the whole group to:

  • Understand the concepts and behaviors necessary to improve individual and organizational behavior in specific areas such as teamwork, communication, or leadership
  • Discuss the goals of coaching, alternatives for monitoring progress and the standards for confidentiality
  • Understand the current work situation and job expectations
  • Understand personal values and goals of the individual client at work and outside of work

Weekly coaching is done by telephone for a minimum of three months and results in:

  • Increased learning and awareness
  • Weekly action goals and feedback
  • Positive individual change and improved organizational performance

Periodic alignment meetings to ensure that expectations are being met
